| Our
first Passagemaker class was a
resounding success with each student
completing the construction of their
boat on time. It was a hectic schedule
of fitting parts, gluing and sanding
over 5 1/2 days.
The first
day was
spent discussing the week ahead and
planning the building process. Students
also had lessons on the correct use of
Bote-Cote System epoxies and their safe use
plus the usual OH&S issues of using
machinery etc.
Most of
the first day was spent sanding and preparing
parts for assembly and they managed to
have the boats wired together by the end
of the day.
